GALS Las Vegas
Girls Athletic Leadership Schools (GALS) Las Vegas is a proposed tuition-free charter school with the mission to provide a personalized and holistic college preparatory education in a supportive environment that fosters the academic mastery and personal development necessary for every girl to become a powerful advocate for herself and a leader of her community.
GALS Las Vegas is working to open its doors to 6th grade for the 2020/2021 school and expand over the following two years to provide a middle school experience tailored to meet the needs of adolescent girls. GALS is working to secure a facility in Las Vegas’ urban core in the vicinity of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus.
- We envision a world where all girls have the opportunity to succeed.
- We believe in equal rights, physical well-being and emotional safety for all.
- We believe in whole-bodied education.
GALS Las Vegas is part of a network of single gender schools. To learn more about the GALS academic model and movement to close the gender gap visit our parent site.
